Morocco E-Visa Guide for UAE Residents

UAE residents can now bypass embassy visits by using the Moroccan e-visa system. This digital process streamlines entry for tourism, business, or family visits.

Eligibility

To qualify for a Moroccan e-visa as a UAE resident, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Emirates ID: Hold a valid UAE Emirates ID card.
  • Residency Validity: Your UAE residency permit must be valid for at least 180 days from the application date.
  • Passport Validity: Your original passport must remain valid for at least 90 days beyond your arrival date in Morocco.

Embarking on the E-Visa Journey

The online portal allows for a paperless application process. Follow these steps to apply:

Step 1: Access the Portal

Visit the Moroccan e-visa website.

Step 2: Start Application

Select "Apply for e-Visa" to open the form.

Step 3: Fill Personal Details

Enter your nationality, current residence (UAE), date of birth, and travel document type.

Step 4: Upload Documents

Provide clear digital scans of the following:

  • Passport Photo: Recent, white background.
  • Passport Bio Page: The page containing your photo and personal data.
  • UAE Residence Permit: Proof of legal residence.

Step 8: Payment

There are 3 e-visa processing options available:

  • Standard: Processing typically takes 3 to 6 Days.
  • Rush: For those seeking a faster turnaround, the Rush processing is within 2-4 Days.
  • Super Rush: For the quickest turnaround, in just 1-2 days.

After Submission

  1. Confirmation: You will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your application.
  2. Approval: Once processed, the e-visa is sent via email.
  3. Entry: Save a digital copy on your phone and print a physical copy to present to Moroccan border authorities.
