Hi Shamim, you can apply for an e-visa as a Bangladeshi passport holder. Also, you will need to provide the share code and the old BRP copy (both front and rear). In the supporting document type column, select your document type as a residence permit and enter your share code as the supporting document number. Upload your old BRP front and rear copy. I recently went through the Moroccan e-visa process, so I’m happy to share my experience. As a Bangladeshi passport holder and having an Australian Residential visa, you are eligible for the Moroccan e-visa, which is generally quite fast.

The processing time of the application is under normal processing(3-6 days), rush processing(2-4 days), and super rush processing (1-2 days).

To be safe, I'd still recommend applying a bit in advance, maybe a week before your trip, in case additional documents/information are required.

I was actually looking for the same information myself, as I also want to move to Morocco. When I searched online and contacted the support team through this website, they clarified that a residence permit cannot be applied for online. The application must be submitted directly through the nearest Embassy or Consulate.

I understand your concern, as I faced a similar situation before and was also hoping to apply for an evisa However, please note that Chinese nationals are not required to obtain a evisa for Morocco for short stay period.
You can travel without an evisa , becuase your natianolity china is from the visa exempt country means you no need en evisa for the short stay . You can also check it from here- https://morocco-evisa.org/understanding-morocco-visa-policy/

But make sure you have valid ordinary passport copy.

I had a similar issue before, and here’s what I found out: For U.S. passport holders, entry to Morocco is visa-free for short stays (up to 90 days ), so your wife and son won’t need a visa.

However, as a Swaziland citizen, you’ll need to apply for a sticker visa through the nearest Embassy or Consulate since Swaziland isn’t eligible for the online e-Visa system. You can schedule an appointment at the consulate in the U.S. and submit your application there.

I’m also sharing what happened with my friend who is Syrian and holds UK residence. She wasn’t able to apply online for the eVisa because of her nationality. Instead, she had to apply directly through the Embassy or Consulate. I think the same may apply in your case, so it’s better to check with the Embassy/Consulate in Italy for the correct process.

Yeah, this one confused me the first time too — long layovers can make anyone double-check.

For Morocco, the rule is pretty straightforward:

If you are NOT leaving the international transit area during your layover, you generally do not need a transit visa, even for an 11-hour wait.

A friend of mine had a similar 9-hour connection in Casablanca on Royal Air Maroc — no transit visa needed as long as he stayed airside and didn’t try to pass immigration.

However, if your airline requires you to collect your bags and re-check in (sometimes this happens with separate tickets), then you would need to pass through immigration, and that’s when a visa becomes necessary.

Since you’re flying Royal Air Maroc and their site says no visa is needed, that usually means your bags are checked through and you’ll remain in transit.

Confirm directly with the airline if your luggage will be checked all the way to Cameroon. If yes — you're good, no transit visa needed.

One of my friends actually had the exact same issue with the name being reversed on the Morocco eVisa.

What we did was contact the same website/platform where the eVisa was submitted and asked them to correct the name.

If you’re not getting any reply or update from the website you applied through, then the safest option is to contact the nearest Moroccan embassy or consulate. They can give you the official guidance and tell you what to do next.

You’re honestly not alone on this — Morocco’s visa info for South Africans is super confusing. I ran into the same situation recently when I was helping a South African colleague plan her trip. Two different websites were saying two completely different things.

Here’s the clearest version based on the most up-to-date guidance (I actually double-checked this through the support team at morocco-evisa.org; they were really helpful when I needed answers):

South Africans can apply for the Morocco e-Visa — but only in specific cases. - If they hold a valid residence permit or multiple-entry sticker visa from one of these places: Australia, Canada, Ireland, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, Schengen countries, the United Kingdom, or the United States.

If you do not have any of those valid permits/visas, then unfortunately, as a South African passport holder are not eligible for the Morocco e-Visa at the moment.

In that case, you’d need to apply for a regular visa through the Moroccan Embassy.

A friend of mine had to go through this recently — she said contacting the embassy directly was the easiest way to understand if they’d allow courier submissions or if she needed to appear in person. It depends on the case.
