One of my friends actually had the exact same issue with the name being reversed on the Morocco eVisa.

What we did was contact the same website/platform where the eVisa was submitted and asked them to correct the name.

If you’re not getting any reply or update from the website you applied through, then the safest option is to contact the nearest Moroccan embassy or consulate. They can give you the official guidance and tell you what to do next.

Here’s the clearest version based on the most up-to-date guidance (I actually double-checked this through the support team at morocco-evisa.org; they were really helpful when I needed answers):

South Africans can apply for the Morocco e-Visa — but only in specific cases. - If they hold a valid residence permit or multiple-entry sticker visa from one of these places: Australia, Canada, Ireland, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, Schengen countries, the United Kingdom, or the United States.

If you do not have any of those valid permits/visas, then unfortunately, as a South African passport holder are not eligible for the Morocco e-Visa at the moment.

In that case, you’d need to apply for a regular visa through the Moroccan Embassy.

A friend of mine had to go through this recently — she said contacting the embassy directly was the easiest way to understand if they’d allow courier submissions or if she needed to appear in person. It depends on the case.

Just to let you know, if you have a Canadian blue travel document, you can’t apply for the Morocco e-visa. The system won’t accept it because they only take ordinary passports.

I had the same situation before, and the website showed me as “not eligible.” So I contacted the Moroccan embassy/consulate, applied for a sticker visa, and it worked — I was able to travel to Morocco without any issues.

Since you’re an Egyptian national living in the UK, here’s the simple information:

You can only apply for the Morocco e-Visa if you hold a valid UK residence permit ( old BRP card ), or UK Multiple-entry sticker visa ( old Stamped Sticker visa on your Passport) - not just a short stay or temporary entry.

If you already have that UK OLD BRP Card or stamped sticker visa on your passport, then yes — you’re eligible to apply online.

But if you don’t have a UK old BRP card or previous stamped sticker copy on your passport (since you mentioned you’ve been there for only two months), then the e-Visa won’t work for you.

In that case, the correct way is to apply through the Moroccan Embassy or Consulate in the UK, and they’ll process a regular sticker visa for you.

If you’re using a German travel document (not a regular German passport), then sadly you can’t apply for the Morocco e-Visa. The online system only accepts ordinary passports, so travel-document holders usually show up as “not eligible.”

I’ve seen this happen before the website doesn’t allow the application, so the only option is to get the visa directly from the Moroccan embassy or consulate. That’s how others with travel documents have done it, and it worked fine.

My friend and I applied for our eVisa — his got approved, but mine was rejected. I later found out that once the application has been submitted, you cannot get a refund under any circumstances.
